01 / OverviewThe short of it

Beanie is designed with privacy at its core. We don't collect, sell, or share your personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-ins, and no third-party trackers.

02 / Data StorageWhere it lives

All data you enter into Beanie — including your bean library, coffee spots, flavour notes, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you have iCloud enabled, this data is synced privately through your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

03 / PhotosYour images

Any photos you add to your bean or coffee spot entries are stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, this data is synced privately through your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

04 / Third PartiesWho we share with

Beanie does not integrate any third-party advertising, tracking, or data-broker services.

05 / AnalyticsUsage data

Beanie uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymised, aggregated usage signals — for example, which features are opened most often. TelemetryDeck is architected so that no personal data or linked identifiers are ever transmitted or stored. Signals are hashed on-device before sending and cannot be traced back to individual users. This helps us understand how the app is used and where to focus improvements.
